Bridge Navigational Watch Alarm System (BNWAS) P7007
The Walker P7007 BNWAS is a small and modern Bridge Navigational Watch Alarm System built by John Lilley & Gillie Ltd to comply with IMO's Maritime Safety Committee requirements for vessels of over 150 gross tonnage. It is constructed to observe bridge activity and detect any lack of response of the Officer of the Watch (OOW) through reset switches or motion detectors. If idleness is detected, the system automatically starts a sequence of visual and audible alarms to warn other crew members, hence guaranteeing sea safety. The touch-sensitive display that comes with the unit simplifies navigation and configuration. The unit has a backup battery, multistage of alerting, and user-configurable alert durations, providing exceptional functionality and reliability through nearly 200 years of marine engineering capabilities.
