CMZ-900

The CMZ900 series gyrocompass determines the ship's heading through detecting the direction of true north using a gravity- and earth-rotation torqued, high-speed-rotating rotor. The resultant heading is presented to equipment like repeater compasses, upon serializing the signal into serial data, stepper, or analog based on equipment requirements. CMZ900 series possesses three gyrocompass options: CMZ900B (independent for small ships), CMZ900S (single gyrocompass for general merchant ships), and CMZ900D (dual gyrocompasses for general merchant ships).

CMZ900B:
- Standalone gyrocompass system suitable for small merchant vessels
- Settle point accuracy within ±0.1° secant latitude (°), follow-up speed 75°/s
CMZ900S:
- Single gyrocompass system suitable for general merchant vessels
- Settle point accuracy within ±0.1° secant latitude (°), follow-up speed 75°/s
CMZ900D:
- Dual gyrocompass system suitable for general merchant vessels, providing redundancy and higher reliability
- Settle point accuracy within ±0.1° secant latitude (°), follow-up speed 75°/s
