Gas-Pro PID - Portable VOC & Multi-Gas Detector for Marine and Industrial Safety
The Gas-Pro PID is a general-purpose, portable detector that can be applied to the detection of a wide variety of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and is therefore suitable in industries that use high volumes of solvents, paints, and adhesives. As a Photo Ionization Detection (PID) device operating on a 10.6 electron volt lamp, it properly detects many hundreds of VOCs by liberating electrons from gases with specific ionization potentials. It has both diffusion and pumped sampling modes and supports the detection of up to five gases. Its dual-color display along with loud audible and visual alarms allows for quick notification of users about unsafe conditions, permitting instant responses. This detector ensures flexibility and reliability in applications where precise VOC monitoring is required.
