HERMetic Accessories for Marine Applications
The Honeywell HERMetic family of accessories is designed for application in marine use, allowing for safe and convenient hand dipping, gas sampling, and gas pressure measurement. The accessories are mounted on HERMetic miniature valves with a 1-inch quick connect coupling. These include the HERMetic DIP 2 to use for measuring sediment levels with graduated rod and stainless-steel tape, and the fume-free gas-free DIP 2 GT. HERMetic OXY provides oxygen measurement in inert gases before crude washing as required by IMO standards. HERMetic Press provides accurate pressure reading without reliance on far-end signal transmission. There are also adaptors available to mount non-Honeywell valves to provide widespread compatibility and additional flexibility onboard ships.
