JUE-251 FleetBroadband: Next-Gen Maritime Communication
The Inmarsat FleetBroadband JUE-251 takes the success of its predecessor a step further with a compact footprint that boasts an industry-standard interface and a high-performance network router. It incorporates a new above deck equipment (ADE) design, with a two-axis control and stable aluminum base. The antenna is minimized in size and 40% lighter but not at the expense of robustness or ease of installation. With no need for GPS or gyro input, and minimized cable management, the system has straightforward installation and use. It supports voice, SMS, and high-speed data, and is well-suited to remote maritime communications.
