Inmarsat FleetBroadband JUE-501
The Inmarsat FleetBroadband JUE-501 is a compact maritime communications solution that enables consistent voice and high-speed data connectivity at sea. With Inmarsat FleetBroadband service, users benefit from continuous internet access, email, and real-time applications. The JUE-501 is easy to set up, offers global coverage, and maintains reliable communications even in remote ocean regions. It supports simultaneous communication between ship operators, onboard crew, and operational teams—making it a versatile solution in the maritime communications industry. The system includes an antenna and Below Deck Equipment (BDE), designed for user-friendly installation and dependable performance in challenging marine environments. This enables vessels to stay connected, access critical services, and operate efficiently across international waters.
Compact, easy installation: Modern above-deck antenna (ADE) design does not require gyro or GPS input and uses a single coaxial cable to the below-deck unit (BDE)—no cable untwisting required
Reliable FleetBroadband connectivity: Supports simultaneous voice and data, with IP speeds up to 432 kbps (standard) and streaming IP up to 256 kbps, as well as SMS up to 160 characters
Satellite blocking detection: Configure up to six obstruction zones (e.g., funnels, radar masts), with alerts when satellite line-of-sight is compromised
Remote Maintenance System (RMS): Enables maintenance over ISDN or a dedicated JRC IP link; the JUE-87 Inmarsat C unit can poll status if IP is unavailable
Easy system configuration for quick setup
Stable communication even while in motion
Enhances crew connectivity and operational efficiency
