Inmarsat Mini-C terminal for Long Range Identification and Tracking (LRIT)
The JUE-95LT is a standalone Inmarsat Mini-C terminal for Long Range Identification and Tracking (LRIT) compliance according to IMO rules such as MSC.202(81) and SOLAS V 19-1. The JUE-95LT will automatically transmit a ship's identity, position, and time information at pre-configured intervals in order to facilitate increased maritime domain awareness and security. The terminal is compact and easy to install in units, for example, with built-in GPS, and can be used on newly constructed ships after 2008 or retrofitted to existing ships. Suitable for passenger vessels, cargo vessels of over 300 gross tonnage, and mobile offshore drilling units, the JUE-95LT has a stable position report transmission even in adverse environmental conditions.
