Insonex – Sonic Cleaning
The Insonex Sonic Cleaning series, by Kockum Sonics, is an exceptional range of industrial and marine sonic emitters, aimed at cleaning. With acoustic and infrasound, it stops the build-up of ash on heat exchanger tubes, and ultimately decreases the risk of stack fires and the accumulation of soot flakes. Kockum Sonics’ sonic soot blowers use compressed air to power the sonic emitters. The sound waves produced, assisted by the speed of the flue gasses, loosen the ash particles before they start to harden or clump together. Insonex covers enormous surface areas with long-wavelength sound, whilst Sonoforce operates at higher frequency for deeper penetrative cleaning. Regardless of the differences in the two options, both options work on the same principles of sonic energy to break particle bonds, which produces minimal maintenance, downtime and safety issues.
