Remote Maintenance System (RMS)

Remote Maintenance System (RMS) is a state-of-the-art onboard equipment monitoring technology of JRC. With the use of JCY-1900/1800 VDR as a server and secure communication via satellite links, JRC engineers are capable of accessing onboard equipment remotely for inspection, analysis, and repairs. With the system, crew can plan repairs at next port call when due repairs are scheduled, saving on downtime and maintenance efficiency. RMS also avoids failures by retaining and monitoring equipment data, offering an economical way of sustaining operational competence.
