Sea Tel 6012 VSAT is a 3-axis, marine-stabilized, 1.5-meter antenna system that offers superior and high-performance maritime communications. Drawing on the proven platform of Sea Tel XX09 models, it combines IMA electronics to enhance functionality and ease of operation. Mounted on a 1.68-meter radome, it offers precise pointing accuracy to provide reliable links for applications such as email, web browsing, video conferencing, VPN services, and file transfer of large data files. It is easy to install and designed to meet some of the toughest shock and vibration specifications, including IEC 60721, IEC 60945, and MIL STD 167-1. Standard features include 3-axis stabilization, which isolates the antenna from the ship's motion regardless of extreme weather and rough seas, while the integrated control unit (ICU) offers single-box integrated electronic control to maintain the best and most efficient pointing accuracy available. The system supports modularity with many different modems and networks, suitable for all kinds of vessels such as ships, OSVs, oil rigs, and naval ships, addressing both passenger and corporate usage requirements.
