Teracom TSS8030R: Optical Smoke Detector for Fire Safety & Automation Systems

The TSS8030R smoke detector is engineered to monitor smoke concentration levels in enclosed spaces and provide early fire alerts. It uses an optical smoke detection principle by deflecting infrared rays through a detection chamber filled with smoke particles. Microprocessor-based, it has been equipped with an enhanced self-compensation algorithm to combat frosting calibration drift, ensuring maintained accuracy relative to smoke level detection. It has a dry contact relay output that is compatible with digital input controllers and can work with many Teracom modules. It is best suited for monitoring smoke in data centers, mobile operator facilities, and in complex building management systems due to low power consumption, compact size, IP30 protection rating, and the outweighing benefits of the device’s features.
