The JMA-9172-SA is the newest IMO-compliant solid-state S-band radar from JRC, with high-precision target detection based on sophisticated signal processing. Featuring a 250 W solid state transceiver, the radar greatly increases long-range and short-range target visibility while using a fraction of the power that conventional radars require. With pulse compression and a Doppler filter built-in, the radar will detect moving targets in cluttered environments. Its solid-state construction obviates the need for pre-heating and tuning, providing instant transmission upon startup. Constaview and Target Enhancement Function (TEF) are included, providing better trail tracking and improved target definition. Designed for low maintenance and high reliability, the JMA-9172-SA is a next-generation solution for marine radar operations.
