Tank Level Gauging System / TA3840C & TA3840S Communication Interface Unit
TA3840C Communication Interface and TA3840S Safety Rack manage process data from a variety of sensors on board the vessel, such as level, pressure, temperature, and trim. The interface provides accurate and reliable level and volume readings by aggregating data from a number of marine tank gauging instruments. The interface is capable of holding 64 cargo tanks and will accept up to 96 inputs from other instruments. It is rack mountable in a 19-inch rack and incorporates the functionality of a central data processor unit, supply board, and display unit with an LCD monitor. The system is required to monitor the cargo, ballast, and service tanks continuously.
