Teracom TDI340: Pulse Counter for Marine & Industrial Automation Systems
The TDI340 is a small S0 pulse counter for the purpose of monitoring and recording pulses from utility meters (i.e., water, electricity, gas meters...) with four pulse inputs to log the pulse counts from each utility meter. The signals from each meter are logged until the TDI340 is integrated with a utility monitoring system using the MODBUS RTU protocol. The TDI340 has an RS-485 communication interface to transfer logged meter information from the TDI340 device to a monitoring system. The MODBUS, RS-485 interface allows for accurate and reliable consumption data to be tracked and integrated into a utility monitoring system. The TDI340 comes in package format for DIN rail mounting for convenient installation in control panels or industrial environments. With a power supply range of 10 to 36 VDC and low power consumption, the TDI340 is designed for indefinite use. The TDI340 is a good solution for acquiring real-time utility consumption data for energy management and utility monitoring systems.
