TRUECOURSE
The TRUE Course is a processing unit that delivers true heading display and offers output data by calculating magnetic compass headings. It utilizes local variation data from GPS to supply accurate true heading data for navigation. The unit also features the ability to switch automatically to magnetic heading data in the event of GPS variation failure, with manual input of variation data also being an option. A unique feature of the TRUE Course is a 2-hour graphical recorder which tracks magnetic and true headings over the past 24 hours. It's ISO11606 and other relevant standards certified and works really well with a digital magnetic compass like the GS820 TMC.
