WALKER 2050 MK2

The Walker 2050 MK2 is a cost-effective wind speed and direction system utilizing the proven P296 sensor, which uses anemometer cup and vane mechanical masthead to provide precise performance in a durable design. The system connects directly to the Walker P1249 indicator to provide digital display of relative wind speed and direction, and simulated analogue wind direction display via OLED. It interfaces through NMEA 0183/RS422 to supply data to ship systems via the MWV sentence. Constructed to withstand harsh marine conditions, it operates effectively across a wind speed range of up to 100 knots and a wide temperature range. It complies with IEC 60945, IEC 61162-2, and IEC 62288 for satisfactory maritime performance.
