WALKER 2080 MK2
Walker 2080 MK2 is an ultrasonic wind direction and speed system with the solid-state P292 sensor that is designed to be highly accurate with no moving parts. The sensor is powered directly by the Walker P1249 indicator to provide digital display of wind direction and speed through a 40-meter P293B cable. Wind direction can also be indicated on an emulated analogue display using OLED technology. It is fully interoperable with existing installations using the P296 sensor, requiring no more than the change of the masthead. It is equipped to measure winds of up to 120 knots and works reliably within a large temperature range. It outputs information in the NMEA 0183/RS422 interface and MWV sentence. The equipment conforms to the IEC 60945, IEC 61162-2, and IEC 62288 standard.
