WALKER 5002
The Walker 5002 is a sophisticated ultrasonic wind and weather system that marries the wind measurement of the 2080 Mk2 with the environmental sensors of the 5000 system. The system is housed in a single masthead unit and operates through a single cable connection for convenience and ease of installation. It provides precise wind speed and direction measurement through a non-moving parts sensor, enhancing longevity. The sensor is connected directly to the P1249 wind pointer and the P1255 weather pointer. The P1263 sea water temperature sensor and the P1066 true wind module are optional upgrades that offer added capabilities. This rugged system meets the standards of IEC 60945, IEC 61162-1, and IEC 62288, and may be installed on new or retrofit ships.
