Weather Fax JAX-9B
The JAX-9B is a compact and lightweight weather facsimile receiver designed for flexible onboard use. It prints received weather fax broadcasts on thermal paper using a durable thermal head with minimal moving parts. With a synthesized receiver and automatic frequency selection, it ensures clear reception. The unit supports four operational modes—automatic, manual, forced, and timer program—each offering varying levels of control over the reception schedule. It achieves detailed output through fine halftone recording with 16 levels of gradation and a 10-inch effective recording width. Users can also view received images on a connected PC, making image access convenient. For added efficiency, the system supports remote maintenance for diagnostic purposes.
