CMZ-900
The CMZ900 series gyrocompass determines a vessel’s heading by detecting true north through a high-speed rotor influenced by gravity and the Earth’s rotation. The heading information is then output to connected equipment—such as repeater compasses—via serial data, stepper signals, or analogue formats depending on system requirements. The range includes three models: the CMZ900B for smaller independent vessels, the CMZ900S as a single-gyro option for merchant ships, and the CMZ900D featuring dual gyrocompasses for enhanced redundancy on larger commercial vessels.
