The WAS-1000 Bridge Navigation Watch Alarm System (BNWAS) helps prevent maritime incidents by ensuring the watch officer remains alert. If the system is not reset within the set interval, it issues progressively stronger audible and visual alarms. Fully compliant with SOLAS requirements, it is suitable for both newly built vessels over 150 GT and existing ships as specified. The system includes a display unit, standard and water-resistant reset units, and buzzer modules. It can interface with radar, ECDIS, and autopilot systems to enhance safety through automation.
