JUE-95SA is a highly compact, light weight Inmarsat Mini-C mobile earth terminal that has been designed specifically for operation with the Ship Security Alert System. With ease of installation on board any merchant ship, it facilitates two-way worldwide data and message communication. It has primary safety features in the form of transmitting security alerts during piracy or acts of terrorism. Fully in compliance with SOLAS XI-2/6 and IMO MSC Resolutions 136(76) and 147(77), it has a GPS receiver and incorporates features such as polling, reporting of data, and self-test. It is controllable using PC-based software, thereby making it user-friendly and effective for maritime security augmentation. Its optional features improve its reliability and effectiveness for efficiency of operation.
