Shipmaster by Kockumation: Flexible Shipboard Automation for New Builds & Retrofits
Shipmaster by Kockumation is an adaptable shipboard automation system suitable for both new builds and retrofits. The system is based on standard computers and features a Microsoft Windows-based human machine interface designed in collaboration with operational officers to match real operational scenarios. The modular structure allows for a Configuration for basic stern ramp indication to deep well pump power pack control to include optional slave operation and full redundancy. The system features a clean, intuitive interface, unnecessary data can easily be hidden. It can be easily interfaced with installed equipment. Shipmaster can accommodate automation for tankers, bulk carriers, floating production storage and offloading (FPSO), and mud rotating equipment. All components are supportable and exchangeable around the globe in order to maintain cost visibility. Kockumation also provides complete packages, including valves, actuators, solenoid cabinets, and tank gauging to shipyards definitions, managing delivery and installation from its subsidiaries located in Chinese shipyards.
