WAS-1000

The WAS-1000 Bridge Navigation Watch Alarm System (BNWAS) will prevent maritime accidents from occurring by keeping the watch officer alert. In case the officer does not reset the system within a specific timeframe, alarms will increasingly ring and be seen and heard. The system is SOLAS-compliant and applies to new ships with a gross tonnage over 150 GT or to currently existing vessels according to the requirement. It consists of elements including a display unit, reset units, a water-resistant reset unit, and buzzer units. It is able to integrate radar, ECDIS, and autopilot systems, including safety through automation.
